About
Ross Pike
Growing up in rural Michigan, Ross began volunteering for the Democratic Party in 2008 during President Obama’s first presidential campaign. In 2010, Ross became the youngest county party chair elected at age 18.
Ross remained heavily involved with the Party and before moving to Fallbrook, served as the Treasurer for one of the largest county parties in the state of Michigan. In 2017, Ross moved to Fallbrook to be closer to family after the death of his mom. It didn’t take long before he was involved with the Democratic Party right here in our region.
In 2020, Ross ran for a seat on the Fallbrook Planning Group and won, becoming the first openly gay person elected in a community with a conservative history once ruled by the KKK. Since Ross’ historic election in 2020, he has worked on several campaigns including the managing of a successful school board campaign winning in a heavily Republican district.
In 2022, Ross became the first Democrat in Fallbrook to hold two elected offices simultaneously when he was elected to the North County Fire Protection District Board of Directors. He is also the President of the Fallbrook Democratic Club, the largest geographic club in San Diego County with over 250 members.
Professionally, Ross works with the National Conflict Resolution Center and San Diego District Attorney to reduce the school to prison pipeline. Ross continues working to get Democrats elected throughout San Diego County and shares those methods with other organizations and labor groups.
